Atilla Kuzu was born in 1963, Istanbul. He studied industrial design at Marmara University in 1987. He founded ZOOM TPU with Levent Çırpıcı in 1994. Same year, he was the finaslist with his design “Taklamakan” in wooden furniture design competititon organized by IFDA, Japan (Design with Love Love with Wood). He was also selected one of the best 30 designers from with his design “From Alaska to Barringer” in wood furniture design competition organised by IFDA. In 2003, Barringer was produced by Conde House. In 2010, he designed “Atilla Series” consisting of 6 products for Conde House. He was awarded the first place for his stand design for Aspen Yapı Sistemleri on “Designed to fit the purpose”.“Open” series designed by him in 2010 was awarded “Best kitchen design”. In 2011 he received “Good Design” award with his design “Angle Table” for 888 Design and selected “Designer of the year” at Edida Awards by Elle Decor Turkey. In 2011, Fluido, his design for Intema Kitchen was awarded the first prize at the Best Kitchen category at Elle Decoration International Design Awards. He still works on retail, office, conference hall, hospital, polyclinic and hotel projects as well as designs furniture for many companies.

Born in 1965, in Erzurum. Çırpıcı, graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Architecture in 1989. He has worked in Prof. Utarit İzgi’s Architectural Office between 1983-87. He founded ZOOM\TPU with Atilla Kuzu in 1994. He has won the second prize in the “Sedat Gürel Dalyanköy Museum and Library Project Competition” in 2000. In the same year he has been selected as the canditate for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture. He and his partner Atilla Kuzu’s design Acıbadem Maslak Hospital Project was short listed at WAF on Interior fitout, Health and Commercial categories in 2009 and Liv Ulus Hospital Project was shortlisted in 2011. He was given the first prize in 2010,2011 and 2015 with his stand designs by Yapı Turkey Build. Çırpıcı focuses his works on retail, healthcare, office buildings and congress centers. Recently, he has expanded his works in the international arena with a continiung interest in these fields.

Deniz Üner completed interior design bachelor degree from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (2007) and furniture masters degree from Aalto University – Finland (2013) with her thesis “Co-Co : Design for modularity”. She had been working on practically with furnitures, experiencing hands-on design approach of furniture making in Finland. She had exhibited her works in Istanbul, Tokyo, Stockholm, Helsinki Design Fairs (2005-2012). In her design, she tries to blend minimalism with flexible and sustainable design solutions. Her approach to design is overall multifaceted and she believes in fresh insights in design with user-friendly attitude. She has been working at Zoom Tpu with Atilla Kuzu and Levent Cirpici for Ozon Design as senior designer & product design co-ordinator since 2014.

YunusEmre Kara joined Zoom TPU in 2010. He recieved his Bachelor’s degree on interior design from Fine Arts Faculty of Anadolu University. In the final semestre of this period, he studied interior design, graphic design and applied industrial design in HAWK HochschuleFürAngewandteWissenschaft und Kunst Hildesheim. Among remarkable projects that he has coordinated in Zoom TPU, there are Salt GalataOditoryum, Liv Hospital Ulus, Liv Hospital Ankara, Henkel Showroom, TR-Pharm KanyonOfis, Memorial Wellness Zorlu Center projects. Yunus has been working as design coordinator since 2012.

Özge Berberoğlu Kurbak has graduated from Bachelor of Architecture program at Yıldız Technical University in 2005 and started to work at Zoom / TPU consequently. She received her MSc degree on Architectural Design at İstanbul Technical University with her dissertation “Perception, Boundary, Personal Space Concepts and Hospital Design” in 2010. During her master studies, she has attended to University of Karlsruhe for one year in conjunction with Erasmus-Socrates Scholarship Program. She followed evidence-based design approach during Zoom / TPU in more than twenty healthcare design projects. She has been working as the project coordinator of Zoom / TPU since 2012 and is currently responsible for coordination of all projects.

Ozone Design combines innovative form and material compatibility with a lean and perfectionist sense of detail. Design ergonomics aims to bring new definitions to the relationship between form and function elements.
